Question: I have been divorced from my two daughters' father for six years, and have remarried. The past two years I have been a full-time stay-at-home mom, collecting zero income and zero child support. I'm looking to modify child support to receive some assistance with my daughters' expenses. My ex-husband has been refusing to give any financial information to generate a calculation or worksheet. Is it legal for him to withhold that information?

Answer: Once you file your Petition for Modification of Child Support and serve it on your ex, he will be obligated to respond and fill out the Arizona Child Support worksheet with his financial information.  You can find the appropriate forms and instructions for filing and service on the court's website.  Go to: https://www.azcourts.gov/familylaw.  There is normally a hearing where the judge may ask for proof of the financial information on the forms completed by both parents.
