I have a 16 year old daughter who lived with her father and step mother in Arizona while I was recuperating from a heart attack. (I voluntarily gave him temporary custody, and live in a separate state). During the time my daughter lived with them, she was placed on probation. All of the court papers were signed by her step mother, are these documents legal? Does a step parent have the legal right to sign legal papers as a parent or guardian, without being granted guardianship of the child?
My ex-husband was ordered to pay child support to me when we divorced in 2003. The state this was issued in was Nevada. Since then, we had both relocated individually to California, and now I am currently residing in Arizona since 09/07. Unfortunately, the payments were made by personal check, if at all, and now I do not know where he lives or what his telephone number is. Is there any way to collect child support now for my 2 children?
I married a 16-Year Old female (I was 23) last year legally with proper parental consent. I was curious to know what my guardianship/consent rights are when it comes to my spouse being served legal paperwork or court orders by anyone, including myself. She was not emmancipated before our marriage, and I've had to legally be there to sign on her behalf for reasons such as school signup and notarizing items, so I know that I have some consent.
Say a debt collector calls you, and you offer a monthly payment because thats is all you can afford. They say no thats not enough, you have to pay more. Then when you tell them you cannot afford anything more. they threaten to garnish your wages. It has been quite sometime since they have sent me any corospondance in regard to this debt, and so I thought it had been written off due to the facit it is on my credit as a bad debt. What should I do in this matter?
Is being dyslectic considered to be a form of disability that an employer can help with by providing standards to follow rather than every employee doing the same jobs but calling each process different at will. It’s very confusing to me being a dyslectic. This company is very adamant about not providing standards as not to hamper individual creativity. I believe there should be some sort of middle ground that will help me quite a bit. I’ve been trying to make some changes without revealing my disability but in doing so, it appears I am, and am considered not so smart. I’m not sure what I should do. I’m feeling the pressure of some that I not so good at what I do and that’s not true. My job title is a Structural Designer II
I want to have a juvenile record destroyed. What form do I use?
I am currently working with HUD Counselor for two years. Is there a time frame for working these modifications? Also in bankruptcy; does this effect the loan modification process?
I am applying for Cash assistance as I am having some financial trouble. I know that normally the Child support division goes after the other parent to pay back the CA payments, but the other parent is on SSI, which I know by Arizona law, she cannot be gone after for child support. How will this work in this case? Will she be gone after to pay back the CA payments even though she is on SSI?
Say the child of the food stamp holder wants to get a job will that deduct any money from the food stamps?
My wife is asking for a divorce. Do i have the right to ask/make her change her last name, in the divorce decree?
