  • Six months into a twelve month lease my landlord sold the property. Now the new landlord is telling me that I must sign a new lease. Although she is not raising our rent, other provisions of the new lease are objectionable to me. Must I sign this new lease to preserve my status as a legal tenant, or must the new landlord accept the terms of my original lease?
  • Va Hospital prescribed medication causing me to suffer chest pains everytime I took the medication. VAMC Phx emergency, Drs told me I was only suffering 'Distress Syndrome' and released. Four hours later ambulance to Chandler Hospital for a Heart attack - two stents. I've since been taking 10 nitros a day for pain. The VA placed me in the Hospital for observation for 2 1/2 days. Drs did no testing just observation (Cardiologist too busy to see me) and released. I ended up in Chandler Hosp again, they did all the testing VA refused. Results I need open heart surgery & a Pro Bono Lawyer.

  • Our heater works but does not provide airflow to the bottom story of our apartment.Twice, we asked the apartment manager directly to make repairs but repairs were never made. On Monday, we sent written notice of intent to terminate lease per ARS 33-1361(A). The apartment manager told me on Monday that someone would be over Tuesday to take a look at our unit but, again, they never showed up. Do I have grounds to terminate on Saturday if nothing is done? The term "reasonable heat" seems arbitrary and I want to make sure I have legitimate grounds for terminating my lease.

Would I be able to file a petition for relocation with a minor, and temporarily move before the 60 days, without getting in trouble for it. And will it effect how they decide custody. Also, I have a PO against the other parent, and there has been domestic violence toward me and the children during our marriage.

  • On the month of April the rent was sent out and i was having trouble gathering the rent money because I got layed of for covid-19, but I didn’t know that the landlord wasn’t charging any late fees I didn’t get any letter no notice, nothing I found out by a neighbored still paid it by my 5 day window. Then the last week of April I didn’t receive the rent bill no one in the parking lot did. But the landlord said she did send it out, we all know she didn’t so I waited a few days the 6 th day I get the rent with late charges but didn’t get the normal rent bill in the first place can she do that?
