  • I moved to Az over 2 years ago and have a 6 year old daughter. Her father and I have joint custody of her in the State Of New Mexico. Does that agreement still hold up in the state of Arizona, as we were never married? Would i have to obide by the joint custody plan that we signed in New Mexico in 2009 or would i be able to get custody of my child in Arizona?
  • We are currently living in a mobile home and are being invaded by rats. Two months of the last five months we cannot use our heat or AC unit due to rat feces and them trying to nest in the vents. We have a dead rat smell in the home and my daughter is currently sleeping on the couch because of the smell. We have given a 10 day and it is past that time frame. We do not have a deposit to move. What can we do?

What are my legal rights as to getting this sale postponed?

  • Me and my ex have a custody agreement but yet on my legal days she will not allow me to have him. How can she do that, and what are my rights? I do not feel I should have to pay child support if I am not being given my court ordered time. I also was wondering who is responsible for travel payment, because she moved out of state and will not pay to fly him to me for my legal days, she says I need to either pay to fly him out here or I can drive to Northern Arizona to get him if I want him on my legal days, can she do that?
  • Our house has been with a broken AC for 3 weeks. We have had to wait for a repair, another repair, a second opinion, another attempted repair, etc. Today we were supposed to have someone come to our house and give us a new unit but when I asked my landlord where they were she said since our house was at 82 degrees we got pushed for people with hotter houses. Our house is cool because we had to rent a mobile AC unit. Our electric bill is twice as much due to a 30 year old AC. What right do we have and should our landlord pay for some of our electric bill?
  • Currently paying a ridiculous amount of rent (~$1500 after utilities) for a an apartment home whose complex offers a community Pool as one of the amenities in the Lease. Recently, the Corporate office locked down all amenities completely despite the upcoming heat of the summer. It’s been 95+ degrees outside, and they refuse to open the pool even for a LIMITED pool hour for kids and seniors— is this legal? Does it break the lease? Can I withhold about $200 in rent since all amenities have been locked? Thanks in advance -concerned mama
