QUESTIONS

  • if the noncostodial parent is on TANF do they still pay child support?
  • My ex is married now and his wife refuses to abide by the parenting agreement we made in court. Does she legally have to abide by the parenting agreement?
  • Do I need an attorney to represent me in court for visitation time with my 10 year old son?
  • I recognize that AZ restrictions raised legal age to buy tobacco to 21 but does this include pipes and water pipes?
  • A room in our home was rented on a month-to-month basis. The 1st month was a trial period to see if they were a good "fit." The man intimidated a disabled female in the home and verbally assaulted her the following day (at which time they were given 10 days to vacate), they were caught smoking marijuana in the home (given a verbal warning), their dog bit someone (didn't break skin just bruising and swelling), caught smoking a second time - told to leave immediately and made threats of imminent harm. Have not returned to claim possessions as agreed and claim we owe them money. What do I do?
  • Is it illegal for me to use my Moms food stamp card while she is incarcerated?
  • I and my children's father have been divorced for several years. The children are very comfortable with my boyfriend and I trust him explicitly. Recently, one of the children was injured at school. Administration attempted to contact me, but I was unavailable, as was my ex. My boyfriend is listed as an emergency contact but has no decision making rights over the kids. Can I afford him POA to make those decisions without the consent of my ex?
  • I live in a mobile home park in a travel trailer that has not had hot water for over a year. In Oct. 2015 I sent the manager/landlord a letter regarding his diminution of services and to reimburse me for when he was not compliant. The remedy was for $1100.00 or 2 months rent. Now I find out that Travel Trailers are illegal to rent. I have had many problems with this place, including electric bills that vary from $50 to $100 diff each month. I need to know my rights so I can stop these people from taking advantage of me. My rent is $539.00 a month with no regular plumbing, water is on hose.
  • August 2015 I called the agent complaining about a refrigerator and roof leaks then again and again, now may 2016 refrigerator goes out had to buy a used one, I want to get reimbursed this is an inconvenience for me need my money back.
  • what if the father is not on the birth cert. Will i still need to get his consent to change my sons last name?
