TCWC and Brewster have merged, and are now called Emerge. There are also many more Batterers Programs, listed on the ADHS website , as well as a DV prevention class at Old Pueblo Counseling.

I had to call the police on my wife who was threatening violence last night. They effectively treated me like the abuser but thats another story. Now my wife is threatening to get an order of protection against me even though she was the violent one. What can I do to protect myself? And will I be able to contact my kids? I'll have to live out of my car as I know no one around here.

If a mother puts a restraining order against her sons girlfriend 4 months before he turns 18 and he doesn't want one put on her can he get it dismissed when he turns 18?

I went to my acoholic ex-husbands to check on him. He had given me a key. I entered his apartment after calling and leaving messages and knocking. After I entered the apartment I was attacked and beaten. The police came. I never hit him. I end up in the hospital for the night with facial trauma and lacerations to my had with broken glass in it still. The police said I could not file charges on him because I was in his residence. He tried to kill me. What can I do?? I have cut all connections with him and am not answering any of his call to me or his children. I am scared.

Our 16 year old son became aggressive after a shopping outing and began beating up my wife taking her to the ground. We are wondering what legal options we have since the answer we are getting from all agencies is that we just have to deal with it and work it out ourselves. We are looking for help of any kind including juvenile detention or detainment in a health facility. I am afraid to leave the house if our son is there and afraid of what he might do in the middle of the night since he has uttered death threats.

A TPO was filed on me. The petitioner tried to contact me many times after filing. Sending me texts like "Please cum sleep with me". The judge still extended the order for 12 months. I posted a web site giving an editorial of my experience. The petitioner got a warrant & I was charged with Aggravated Stalking in a different county than the TPO was filed. Can a web site be considered contact?

My daughteris being physically abused by her husband He has done this before. The police came once to escort her out of the trailer. He left before they came. She is afraid of him as he has threatened to have her children taken away. I am not sure as to what to do as parents. He apologizes, then she keep accepts him back. We are worried about the children. We live in Alaska

I need to track the creation, revisions, amendments to Arizona Revised Statute 13-3601, specifically in relation to mandatory arrest laws during domestic violence calls. How do i do that? Thank you!

Is it possible to remove a domestic violence charge from my record to stop having a delay when I purchase firearms?
-
I can't afford an attorney even through the modest means program & no one is willing to help me pro bono. I filed for divorce from my abusive husband & we reached a settlement agreement on 4/28/16. But he continues to use the judicial system to make false accusations against me & keep me in court. How can I stop this harassment, and why won't any attorneys help me pro bono? So many claim to be DV advocates but no one is advocating for me & my daugher.
