QUESTIONS

  • My daughter turned 18 a week ago and when I just renewed my lease, they made me put her on there? And ran a credit score? Is this right? If I'm late on a payment it goes on her credit too?? We have lived here for 4 years...
  • My sister in law came to stay with us from CA because we didn't want her to be homeless....we allowed her to stay here so that she could have time to get a job and find a place for herself. She is not on the lease and doesn't pay rent nor has there ever been rent spoken of because this was supposed to be temporary. She did have her mail forwarded to herself her. Since moving in we have found out she is actively using street drugs and is not making efforts to help herself and has become increasingly hostile and verbally abusive. Can she still be removed as a guest...the police said no. Help.
  • My daughter's apartment got on firer by the other apartment works done in the same building. Therefore she has moving around from places to places for at least 6 times and still paying the same rent. The landlord cant give her a definite day for her to move back and keep avoiding to talk to her with this issue. It has being more then a month now. What can she do?? Please advise!!
  • I just moved into a house that i am renting. I received my first gas and water bill witch were outrageous prices. After calling the water and gas company we discovered that there was a leak under the house. They discovered that the remodel was done improperly breaking on of the pipes. He fixed the issue in a matter of days. But i feel that i should not have to pay the water or gas bill. He is refusing to pay them. Is there anything I can do?
  • If I lose rights to my daughter do I still have to pay child support if shes getting adopted by another father. Or do I have to continue the payments even after it's over?
  • my husband and i have been married for 13yrs. i have asked and told him that i want a divorce cause we lost respect for each other and neither of us are happy. dv is within this marriage. i'm tired of the fighting, arguing, etc. do you think the judge would grant my request for dissolution of marriage? i need help with this please. i cant and wont take no more of this abuse from my husband.
  • I Have a property than I want to sell, the renter does not want to purchase the home. This renter put in new stove, frig, dishwasher, microwave. When I ask them to leave can I legal have them replace all the prior items? They also did improvements with out written approval, and they are demanding compensation. How do I protect myself? There is no rental agreement written,
  • If I file a petition to modify child support in March can I change my payments immediately or do I have to wait to hear back from the courts?
  • i sold a car to some one and it broke down as he was driving it home. he signed a bill of sale saying it was sold as is. do i have any legal responsability.
  • My daughter and her son have lived with me and my husband since my grandson was born. the father of the baby left when he was 3 months old and moved back to his home state of KY. He did sign the birth certificate and my daughter is going for child support through the state, but the father does not call, visit or show any interest in my grandson. My question is, what would happen if my daughter became ill or passed away- by law does my grandson have to move to KY to live with a biological father he has never known or is there something I can do now for reassurance this baby won't be taken.
