QUESTIONS

  • My son's biological father has visitation every other weekend. If he is out of state when it is his time for visitation, do I still have to take our son to see his wife (my son's step mom) or can I keep him at my house until his father returns? My son's step mother does not have visitation rights.
  • A large cactus in the backyard fell on September 1st; two days later the landlord acknowledged the fallen cactus. It is now October 13th and no one has come by for an estimate to remove it. Our son cannot go outside because he just wants to touch it. Do we hire someone to remove it and take it out of the rent? They also never reimbursed us for the exterminators who camea few times when we first moved in. They have never acknowledged, and denied the issue of the bugs. This had been an ongoing issue with them.

My ex keeps requesting delays claiming medical issues, but has provided no proof to the court of any medical issues. In the meantime I keep paying more and more temporary spousal maintenance and attorney fees. The Judge keeps approving my exs requests for more time. My attorney has filed a Final Decree with the Judge. How long can the Judge take to sign a Final Decree (months or years)? What else could my attorny do to push along my case? No one but me wants the divorce to be done
  • Family Member Home was purchased purchased as a FHA and I lived in the home for the past 3 years, in which I have been living in the property with my family and making the mortgage payments and making Bills payments. Thinking I would be the owner someday. The owner goes behind my back and deeds the property to an investor in CA. When I ask him to sign a deed to me, he's already done so with private investors. I stop making the mortgage payments,since he deeded the hm elsewhere. We are now in foreclosure process and owner is no where to be found. What can I do to keep my family in their home.
  • Who is responsible to repair leaking pipes inside the ceiling between two condo units? HOA or condo owner? My understanding of condo ownership is that each owner owns the air space inside the unit. Anything beyond is undivided interest owned by all the owners and the HOA.
