QUESTIONS

  • My power was recently turned off my APS without any notice. This was a discrepancy in billing due to an error on their side. I had no idea there was even an issue. According to them I needed to make a deposit payment to a separate account that I was not aware of. The person who set up the account did not notify me of this and made an error inputting the deposit amount. My dog was in out house with no AC while we were working and it was 105 degrees outside. I was wondering if it is legal for them to turn off our power when it is over 100 degrees without any notice.
  • I was served with a protection order and had to leave my home. My girlfriend went by the house and noticed my roommate who had me served took my door off its hinges and stole my tools out of my room as well as the shed. What do I do?
  • our home has foreclosed and we are threatened with lock out. how do we find out what court will handle the notifications?
  • I have a son who his father and I aren't married but the father is on the birth certificate. His father just got out of prison and threatens me with leaving the state with my son. How do I get soul custody of my son?
  • I married a girl that already had a 3yr old.Because she came out pregnant from me.After a yr. of being pregnant she decided to change her sons last name to mine.We divorced after 6yrs. and she said in court I'm her son's father although we DO NOT have a father and son relationship. She lied when she filled out our divorced papers sayin we got married when her son was 9mnths. and NOT 3yrs. and about me being his only father figure. So im having to pay child support for him too.Im not allowed to see my daughter cause i dont have contact with her son. What can I DO to NOT have responsibilities over him
  • What do I need to do to change one of my daughters last name. My domestic partner is not the biological father but he has been there with my daughter and i since about 3 months into my pregnancy. My daughter currently has my last name but both my partner and i want to change her last name to his. Her biological father isnt in the birth certificate nor in her life. And she is 1. What are the steps to change her last name?
  • There is a trailer for sleep in a 55+ community. Am i able to purchase the home as remove it from the community to a me plot of land i recently purchased?
  • My daughter and I leased an apartment 2 weeks ago. The police served an arrest warrant on my daughter's friend who was visiting our apartment yesterday by forcing entry into the apartment and also conducting a search of the entire apartment. The police told me this was in reference to an ongoing criminal case against this person. I am concerned that we will be evicted even though we had no idea that her friend had a warrant for his arrest and do not have any idea why it was served at our place of residence. Should I speak with the management to proactively avoid any type of repercussions?
  • Can I post bill an apartment manager for repair services I paid for which the managers neglected to provide?
  • What is considered poverty level? how do i know if i qualify for the program?
