  • I have been convicted of a DUI, which occurred in 2010. This is my first DUI and I have never had problems with the law ever before, nor since. I have been given 180 days in jail, or go to class and pay fines of about $2500.00, and nine days in jail. I do not currently have a job, but will find work after the nine days in jail. I do not have any funds at this time. I suffer from panic attacks and I am a member of CODAC Behavioral Health. I want to attend classes and complete the program. How can I avoid the 180 days in jail, as I have no funds?

I know that acreditor cannot touch benefits given by the federal government but what is the maximum money she can earn from her part time, i.e., $200, $400, whatever in a month's time yet is not subject to being garnished by a creditor? And what is the Arizona law stating this?
  • My tenant lied about having a puppy. My home is a no pets home. She moved the dog in when she moved it. When we found about the dog we gave her a 10 day notice letter that she had no idea was coming. Within 18 hours she went on a website and got a letter saying that the puppy is now an emotional support dog and if we try to evict her she will sue us under Federal Housing Act. What are my protections? Add said no pets, applications said no pets, lease says no pets and she lied. Also advertised in local neighborhood website for a pet sitter. So, it wasn't an emotional support dog then
  • I’ve been married for over 3yrs but he’s been in and out of prison and cheated several times so we separated about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I started dating someone and got pregnant . When I had the baby I didn’t know it was illegal for the boyfriend to sign the birth certificate and not put my husbands name until a friend told me. So what do I do to fix it without getting in trouble? Like I said I had no idea as this was my first child.
  • In 07-09-2012 my home was foreclosed and sold. because of lost job and bad health, I could not make payments. I had a 80/20 loan. I have read info on the Anti- Deficiency (ARS 33-814). My question is do I owe on the 20 percent lone? I have not heard from that lender?
  • Had building inspected privately and my unit had black mold. Myself and toddler became sick. They never fixed it. Made it worse by having us live in an unsuitable and unsafe living environment for about 2 weeks. There was water dripping from the open ceiling. They placed a large plastic cover over my bed with an extension chord that was lying over my bed hanging out window and left it. I have a toddler. Rain + Water and an open window! LEFT THE EXTENSION CHORD OUT THE WINDOW not smart. Wasn't fixed in 3 weeks so so I moved and they placed an eviction on my record. Need advice
  • When my ex husband and I were going through a divorce proceeding the child support amount was so minimal that the judge decided to not award support. Now, however, the child support is needed due to change in finances. Would I submit a new case or would I submit a modification case?
