QUESTIONS

  • I am a section8 tenant and recently found out that I am not responsible for any portion of the rent because The City of Phoenix Section8 pays the entire rent amount and has done so since I began living in the unit. I have paid $50/mth on top of what they get from section8. I was told thats what Im suppose to pay and have done so since I moved in. Now that I have this information, I would like a refund of the payments made that were made. What is the best way to formally request this money?
  • We received a tro from district court on our foreclosure it was mysteriously remanded to state court then dismissed by state court we are under appeal to 9th circuit. It turns out opposing counsel clerked for judge at the AZ supreme court and US court of appeals for the ninth circuit. Neither the judge or opposing counsel disclosed there past relationship! Is this not a conflict of interest? Is the judge not required to disclose there past relationship? Is the lawyer not required to disclose there past relationship? Is it of any use in a dismissal?
  • Lease ends Dec. 10, 2018. I will pay in full, move out and turn over keys mid November. BUT landlord says I am still responsible for the property until Dec. 10th and is holding my security deposit hostage until that date. I don't want to be responsible for the property after I move out.
