QUESTIONS

  • I had a job as a property manager which one of the perks was a free apartment. I was arrested off property for an non-work related reason. I spent four days in jail. The charges were later dropped. When I returned from jail, I was fired and locked out of my apartment. I believe it was wrongful termination, but that's another matter. My question is even though I was an employee, am I still not covered under the Arizona Landlord/Tenant Act? I think I should have had a 10 day Notice to Vacate.

The home is still in my mother's name who lives at a separate residence My oldest daughter got a divorce and had been living with her boyfriend at his parents house.   • I have a defiant 17 year old daughter who is violent and verbally abusive. She has even damaged our home by punching holes in the doors and is using drugs. She will not follow any of our rules and basically comes and goes as she pleases. She turns 18 in 5 months, but will not graduate high school until May of next year. Are we still responsible for her until she graduates, or do our responsibilities end once she turns 18? She is causing turmoil and fear within our home and we just don't know what our rights are.

  • this is more from my previous question. so my landlord told me on the phone that she is really kicking me out because I went behind her back and called section 8 they came out and tested to see how hot is was in my house it was 92 so they gave her thirty days to fix it and she did on the last day Iif the thirty days these other things she has on the notice are bogus and I need to find a way to prove it also she sent me a text saying she would rather kick me out and have me lose my housing that to have me there unhappy I still have the text messages
