  • the city of tempe impounded my car for driving on suspended? the officer never pulled me over, my car was parked at a gas station I was in the store when he pulled in and parked. I then walked over to a hotel next door leaving my car at the gas station and thye officer pulled up next to me at the hotel and asked me for I.D. He then ran my name and my license came back suspended, told me he was'nt goping to arrest me but was going to impound my car? is this legal if he never put his lights on and pulled me over in my car? and both my car and I were on private property?
  • i am 15, almost 16, and I get in constant fights with my parents, some leading to abuse, and would like to live with a friend of mine that lives in California. could there be a penalty for doing so? do i have to get emancipated to do this? what do i have to do in general to do this. my family knows this family very well and they would take great care of me. they would also have no issue in taking me in and they would treat me as their own.

The website listed a total amount due, but wouldn't accept the payment. This caused her to be several more days late while the office figured out the issue. This increased late fees and attorney fees. Is this acceptable? Or reasonable?
  • When I was 18 I got a class 6 undesignated felony. I did my probation and got off it early. I turned in paperwork to the court to try and get it dropped down and it got denied. I am currently in my second year of ASU and have not been in any trouble. What can I do? I will not be able to get a job.

  • I bought a refurbished tv on ebay. The first one was broken, I paid $51 to send it back to get another one, it too was broken, I had to pay another $51 to send it back andget another. It too is broken but now they won't take it back, told me it had a 1yr manufactureres warranty so I called them, they said itdoes not. Now the original sellers aren't responding. Can I file a civil suit for the almost $500 in thistv that is still broken?
  • C Our neighbor upstairs has caused us problems about the parking and has threatened my 70 yr old husband and myself. Last Friday his gun "went off " into the floor of our bedroom, where my granddaughter and I were. He went to jail. No one was hurt. But I do not feel safe with all that and then yesterday a person was arrested in front of our apt with a large amt of money and drugs. He went to jail also. Our lease is up but we had intended to renew. Now I'm afraid to live here. We were supposed to give a 2 months notice if we moved out. Do we still have to give that much notice?

They say it's a civil matter and to file a suit. How can a suit be filed if the whereabouts of the person are unknown. I need to know what my options are and want this person held accountable for stealing my car.
