QUESTIONS

  • can my landlord keep me from moving my travel trailer because I owe two months rent? we had agreed in October I would pay October and November rent in mid November when my student grants came in, they will be here next week, but my son only has this weekend to move my trailer for me. My landlord says I cannot legally move it, although he does not have a lien on it and I own it free and clear.
  • Is it a requirement of the trailer park owner to provide a dumpster for tenants in the park
  • I am being evicted from my home and have court tomorrow, I wont be able to make it to court, and I understand that I will have a judgement placed against me. I have no reason to fight it because i am behind on rent. My question is, how soon after the judgement is made can money be taken from me. I am willing to pay the landlord and make payments but my husband is currently in the hospital recovering from a heart attack and the little bit of money i have in my account has to go towards medication.
  • I was influenced to redo a Secondary motor vehicle finance transaction. A rep from the office called and urged me to go in, cash out on my loan, and do another one. I told them I no longer own the vehicle and they said it's okay and come in anyways. I am now being sued for defaulting on the loan but I was wondering if I could fight it? The contract was signed under false pretenses.
  • We are seeking to get guardianship of our grandson who is 1. Our daughter lives with us & he stays with me 95% of the time, however she does not provide financial care for him. We believe she has some mental issues that need to be addressed, although she refuses to seek care. When she chooses to care for him, she makes choices that are neglectful & at times putting him in danger. How do we accomplish this task with her living in our home, proving the issues we see daily, keeping him safe with us & hoping she gets the help she needs.
  • We terminated our lease early. We gave them notice in writing. They have continued to stall getting the house rented to someone else. It was ready to be moved into at the first of the month and they won't even let a new tenant look at it until the 10th. I read that according to Ariz rev stat 33-1370 that a "landlord has a duty to find a new tenant". I'm having a problem finding that actual wording in the law. We are on the hook for rent until a new renter is found, but it seems they are preventing that.
  • Is it correct (IN ARIZONA), that FMLA Act does NOT include siblings.
  • My lease expires on Sept 30th, which is a Sunday. The property management company says I have to be out on Friday the 28th with no walk through,or, Thursday the 27th if I want to be present at the walk through. Is this true?
  • Ex has not paid credit card debt, child support, or ,child medical Bill's per decree. He moved out of state and is refusing to provide current contact information. How can I get decree enforced without knowing current address and how long do I have to enforce.
  • During my current 6 months of employment, I was hired as a 1099 employee and then transitioned to a W2 employee (paid salary + commission)and then forced back to a 1099 employee by my employer. Despite earning commissions from the first month of employment, I have yet to be paid any commissions. They initially told me I they would pay them and then they ignored by requests for payment. Can an employer withhold and deny paying earned commissions and if so, how long. Are they subject to any penalties or fines for will fully with holding earned commission? What can I do?
