  • I have owned my mobile home since I purchased it with cash in 1996 and have resided in the same mobile park where I rent the land since that time as well. The landlord has now changed the rules and no longer allows pets. I am wondering if this is legal considering I own my home and just rent the land. ord should have no say in the matter. I am wondering though if it is legal for the park to tell me what I can do in my own home as far as having a pet. Thank you.
  • I have a landlord that am renting from, have been at my residence for 3 years now,We had an agreement to fix the home for down payment to buy.So my husband and really got to work on the home as it was going to be ours, So now she wants us to move in 30 days now all the work is done The time we here she acted like it was a big deal to fix things ,had the kids bathroom full of mold making them sick and termites like crazy. We had fixed roof never got payed labor and cleaned hurricane damage and trees never got paid or taken off rent.Now the home is NiCE she wants us out should she have to pay
  • Is it legal for a landlord to put into our lease a statement that says "If for any reason during the duration of this lease agreement the relationship between Lessor and Lessee is soured, Landlord reserves the right to serve a 30 day written notice to vacate." Isn't this unconscionable? And shouldn't any ability to break a contract be fair to both parties?

  • We recently had some water damage from a leaky toilet in a rental house we occupy collapsing a portion of the formal dining room. The leak from the toilet was caused by a faulty hose from the toilet to the wall. There was no sitting water in the small commode and with the lack of use of the formal dining room it was never noticed. Our landlord has stated that it is our responsibility since the leak was not inside the walls and that we should have noticed the damage. Both claims, the landlord and mine where denied. Now they are threatening to not renew the lease until we fix the damage.
  • My son's father and his girlfriend had a domestic violence incident in his home where she broke glass, furniture, and physically assaulted him. The police came. My 5 year old son was in the home at the time. I would like to get a restraining order against her for my son. I don't want my son to be exposed to that again. She has also been harrassing me via hundreds of texts, phone calls, social media messages, etc. Do I have enough to file for a restraining order against her for my son? My concern is for my son's safety.
  • I am divorced and my ex left AZ after. My children are with me but he still has partial custody. He has not contacted or seen the children in 3+yrs. No card, call or anything. My current husband would like to legally become their father. I have no idea where my ex is or how to even contact him. I have an agency searching for him for non payment of child support and they cannot even find him! Could you tell me how to dissolve his rights as father so that my current husband can make them his kids since that is who they call dad. I also want his rights taken away because if anything were to happen to me I don't want him to be able to come in and take them because they wouldn't know him or feel safe with him because of past events.

  • When we first moved into our apartment we noticed a bug but didnt know what it was, we killed it and flushed it, a couple weeks later we started getting bit and a couple days after that we caught 2 bugs, we told the office and they "set us up with a heat treat" 2 months later we got that heat treat! We were suppose to get 3 follow up sprays, one every week for 3 weeks. It had been a month since they heat treated and we only got one of those sprays! Now were getting bit like crazy again, 2 weeks ago we told the office we were getting bit and now its worse, Can we get out of our lease? HELP
