We live in an RV resort, own a park model. We have a business license to do yard work and have been doing well here in the park helping older people that cannot do what we do. We work on the weekends, but the park is considering prohibiting working on Sunday. Can they do this according to AZ law. They have also issued a ruling that people who work for the park cannot do side jobs in the park at all, even on their own time and with their own equipment. Is this legal?

How do I know if my employer is violating laws against blocking me from serving jury duty? They have paid jury duty time but will not let me take it without extending my contract, a highly undesirable result and something I perceive to be retaliation. Should I obtain counsel for this or am I being overdramatic? Thank you!

i work in the cleaning industry my boss stopped paying us for the time we commute from one job to the other we drive his truck to do work for him we are paid hourly so for the 1 to 3 hours ea. day we are in route to a job we dont receive compensation for our time ? and he also has started putting, what should be a gas allowance on my check but has it described as a reimbrestment and he dont list correct the total of my deduct. in the total deduct column i cant tell if i am paying the taxes on the gas money please help i need to quit if he is not legally abided to pay drive time thank you

I have been employed in AZ. for 36 years to a Texas based company. They have sent notice that I enroll in direct deposit by Dec.1st,2014 in accordance with a collective bargaining agreement made by my union in july 2008. providing that, "the carrier may implement arrangements for the direct deposit of any payments due its employees covered by this agreement." They did not offer alternatives or consequences for failure to do so, only that I would be "subject to remedy." Can they force me to direct deposit or "remedy"? I currently receive my pay bi-monthly via USPS. Thank you.

Can I Collect unemployment if I Quit my job I work for a Nursing and a Rehabilitation center I have Two co- workers and 6 patients that tested positive for COVID-19 2 deaths on Monday They will be excepting patients with callback from the hospital I do not feel safe I have a husband that has just recover from cancer. If I am currently at work,and I need to leave work early to take paid sick pay,for true reasons for sick pay,can my job deny me sick pay,and can they give me a point for leaving work,not sure on this

Question-once a work schedule of an employee has been posted can the employer make changes to the schedule w/o consulting the employee, and if employee can not accommodate the change can the employer retaliate with disciplinary action.
