  • We re moving out of our rented home and disagreeing with our landlord over wether or not some of the non permanent add ons are "his". A flagpole and pond, both can be removed with virtually no effort, so therefore are not permanent fixtures right? Any help with this would be great, Thanks so much
  • Landlord is upset about possibly having to fix broken air conditioning in a house my wife and i are renting he is trying to say its my fault because i didn't change the filters on a regular time period but has not had a qualified a/c person inspect it just an other tenant who said that the unit is frozen.I feel that he is looking for an excuse to have me pay for repairs when the air is his response ability .What can I do to get the a/c fixed and do I have to worry about a retaliation eviction I have entertained the idea of getting a Tucson building inspector to make him fix the a/c to code.
  • My tub had a crack in it and was reported in or around 4/21. The main bathroom was demolished wall and floor exposed... it is now 7/30 and we have not had a place to shower or take a bath...many excuses about maintenance man calling off work or having other jobs to do. We now have roaches because of exposed bathroom floor and cool air is escaping making my bill higher than it should be...I was threatened with eviction if I didn’t pay rent.. please help I don’t really no the laws..5 day 10 day 21 day notices.
  • My father remarried two years ago. His health is taking a turn for the worse and he will need assisted living soon. They currently live in independent living with a meal plan. His own retirement is enough to cover the cost of assisted living, but his new wife is spending money on groceries that they don't need - about 900 dollars a month. Landlord replied with "when you pay me what you owe, plus moving and storage expenses, then we will talk." Landlord then gave me a $4500 moving and storage bill (her handwriting) in which same moving company quoted me no more than $1800. On the 20th day we contacted landlord where she said it is considered abandoned and that if we contacted her anymore she would file harassment charges on us. What do we do?

  • My lease states that 2 adults are allowed to leave in the premises. I had a friend stay with me and my landlord forced me to kicked them out. He said that having somebody else stay with me without his approval meant I broke the lease and he could evict me. I have always paid rent on time and he is enforcing rules with me that he is not enforcing with the other tenants. I can't afford a lawyer and I fell harassed. What are my options?
