QUESTIONS

  • My water heater broke and it took me about 2 hours to even reach my landlord. After having no emergency fire company come out she finally sent someone . It is a Thursday and I do not have any source of hot water and I am being told it won't be fixed until Monday which is 5 days without hot running water. Is this legal in Arizona ?
  • I have a superior court mailing that states your civil right have been restored. Does this mean I can vote,purchase weapon etc.?
  • My ex and I had a domestic violence issue where one party assaulted the other and property was destroyed. I declined to press charges at the time (May 2018), and the charges have been dismissed without prejudice since (June 2018). Can I change my mind and still pursue charges against the other party?
  • My husband started paying his child support to his ex-wife once the amount was determined - before the official court order was issued. He was paying child support directly to her instead of the Clearing House. He did this for a year. The Clearing House now says that he owes back child support and $2000 in interest. We have all of the cancelled checks. Can we dispute this?

  • I have been living in my rental house for 7 months. The plumbing in the kitchen and bathtub keeps backing up and The landlord has had the plumbers out seven times and still cannot fix the problem. The plumbers told us it was bad pipes and the landlord will not spend the money to fix them. So I cannot use my washer or dryer and when I take a shower I have to stand in the water that backs up. Is that grounds to be able to break my lease?

  • my landlord woulf not except my rent said cuz i was selling drugs. 1 week later he came and said i could stay but i have to pay another 550 plus the rent i told him it was sat. and banks are closed. he told me go tho the atm. i said i cant and on monday when i get home from work at 4 i wouyld bring it. monday morning he comes knocking i told him we agreed at 4. then he goes off saying he needed the money now. banks were not even open yet. i again told him we agreed at four. he started ranting and raving 2 days later i get evction papers.with my room mates name and not mine
