Child Custody
questions & answers
Question: I filed for divorce 2 days ago. Today I found out that my wife has committed adultery. We had agreed to joint custody because she didn't want to give up our son. Since she has committed adultery can I change the child support order bfore the 20 days are over? And will I be able to get full custody because of this?
Answer: Arizona is a "no fault" divorce state. Adultery will have no bearing on child support; and unless there are extraordinary circumstances, adultery generally is not considered as a factor for custody determinations.
