  • I have had a roof leak for 3 months, gradually worsening despite the manager's claim if was repaired. I have photo documentation as well as emails. I'm done begging, I want to break my lease and move...should I send a 10 day notice of landlord noncompliance? I'm also worried about mold. thanks, Mike
  • I have been trying to get my misdemeanor assault conviction sealed or set aside for months. I was charged 5 years ago and didn't complete my court order counseling and had to serve jail time. I tried to get a set aside order but was denied due to incompletion of probation. I cant work this this on my record and need to know where to go from here
  • A maint worker from a property mgt co entered my apartment without consent. They refuse to tell me who entered my apartment, why there was a need to enter, and I asked what was the emergency that constituted the right to enter my apartment. I have left 2 calls for the regional manager with no response. No attempt was made to call me that there was an emergency, no voicemail, and no door tag. The only reason I knew someone was in my apartment was because my detergent and softener was left on the washer. This was discovered on my lunch. When I came home from work my apartment was flooded.
  • My husband and I just bought a condo, and we don't have hot water. Our HOA charges us for hot water (boiler is used), but we don't receive any. Our water comes out at 100°F as the warmest. I've spoken with HOA & he started that it will be about 8 months before we get any hot water due to the repairs needed. Should we still be charged for hot water usage? Is it legal to not provide hot water to tenants and charge them for it?
