QUESTIONS

  • I am checking if there's any way to have my record expunged? I committed a felony in oct. 2010 and are having trouble getting hired at good jobs. it happened in california but i moved to arizona sep of 2015. I've been clean and even completed college courses. can someone point me in right direction? i don't understand how someone can still be held accountable after so long.
  • Moved into renovated home was to be done by 6/18 (day moved in). Upon arrival; 2 baseball size holes in 2 windows & piles of trash under carport. Due to incorrect measurements windows would be another week. Week1 dryer vent had to be re-cut, electrician rewired house due to fire hazard. Week2 plumbing unable to do laundry 2weeks now, family has to share 1 bathroom, windows not replaced. Week3 windows replaced 7/1–7/6, plumbing on hold to find better price (laundry?), & still sharing bathroom. Was given 1 months free rent but asking us to pay full electricity bill. What are her obligations?
  • If my landlord accuses me of smoking marijuana based on what neighbors have said, does he have to prove that I've been doing illegal drugs before evicting me, or can he simply evict me based on what the neighbors told him?
  • I'm a Disabled Veteran, my husband is active army - we met on active duty 2008 & married 2012. Due to him physically and mentally abusing me, we seperated end 2014, had a separation agreement in place since we lived in NC. We toyed with reconciling during 2015 and 2016. Feb 2017, despite being in contact with each other, he filed for divorce in TX, filed a false affidavit that he couldn't find me, and had a default judgement granting divorce. He cleared out our 3600 sqft home in NC of all our joint & personal property and dropped my daughter from ins. How to make his wrongs, right?
  • I am pursuing custody of my 9 year old son and was told I should try and get a Guardian ad litem but I can't find anything about what is required to request one, or what guidelines the court follows in granting one. What do I need to do this?
  • I am on probation for 2 misdemeanors. My wife accepted a job in Nevada and I have been offered one with the same company. How can I get my probation transferred to Nevada. Please don't tell me to ask my PO as he has stated that my wife has to be in Nevada for 6 months before Nevada would agree to transferring my probation. I have not been able to find any evidence that this statement is true. I was also told I am not eligible for Interstate Compact treatment. Please help.
  • I called my auto insurance company to have a company replace my window in my auto the glass installer damaged my car. My insurance company said it was not one of their authorized dealers so they can help me. I want to take the glass company to small claims court to see if i can get resolution for the cost of the damages the paper work ask if this is a contract or tort. I did not sign a contract with the glass company so I'm confused as to what to use for the type of claim on the paper work.

  • My roommate moved out ten days ago and left many of her belongings on the apartment. She told us verbally that we could have all the items she left behind then later changed her mind and said that she would give her friend two of the belongings. She threatened to send the police with her friend later on to pick them up. My question is if she has the right to send her friend to tale the belongings or if we have a right to take them since they were left in our apartment and she is no longer on the lease?
