  • tenant moved out of state but left there car behind and we found the keys to it in the grass what do we do with the car
  • I live in a apartment with neighbors upstairs and around me but the neighbors above me have been a problem since we moved in like banging walls stomping on the floor and I've complaint several time and have written complaints and they have retaliate and do the stomping and bang the walls much worse each time and this is being done real late hours of the night only when we are sleeping.   • My car was recently repossessed. I spoke w/ the fa dept wanting to pay everything I need to pay to get it out and set my pymts up for weekly. The dept is telling me I have to wait 7-8 days for a letter to be generated and recd before I can make my pymt. Meanwhile, im getting charged storage fees everyday when I could just pay for it. Do I have to wait to receive a letter telling me I already know what happened and what I need to do? I want to pay today to get my car out.
  • We gave a deposit hold to a real estate agent who said it was to keep our application in first place. In order to rent the house, they were needing 6 months rent ahead of time. She received the hold on the 16th, we submitted an incomplete application on the 17th and on the 21st she requested the remainder. On the 22 I informed her that we would not be able to provide the 6 months of prepaid rent to her as we originally thought and that otherwise we were not eligible to rent the property. She is now saying that we have no right to our hold. On the application it says deposits can be refunded
  • I just received a bill for wastewater services for 15 years in the amount of $5000. This is the first bill I have ever received. They sent a letter that they have waived late fees and penalties. What should I do?

  • I informed my landlord that there were several things that needed to be fixed (the dishwasher and the toilet) She never responded to my requests. I waited several days. I then informed her that I would have these items fixed and that I would provide her with receipts of the work done and deduct it from my rent. Again, she did not respond. Now she is seeking late fees for the amount that I deducted from my rent. In addition, the roof has leaked for the last year and after numerous requests has not been fixed to my knowledge. Can she do this and can I break m y Lease?

  • Our building is pretty old and the plumbing here is always giving everyone problems. Usually the owner fixes it and that's that. Well this time, the toilet is plugged up and it's the 3rd time. It wasn't fixed right the first time or the second time. Because I have been having problems with it ever since. Including right after they supposedly fixed it the first time. So this time (3rd time) the landlord (not the owner) says I have to pay her husband to fix it. I have a 14 yo son n a 17 yo daughter as well as myself who is disabled n our room mate who islike 63 yo. Do I have to pay?
