QUESTIONS

  • I am currently in the Military, expecting to get out in October, and moving from Washington (where I am currently stationed) to my home state (Arizona). Can I file for custody as soon as I am back in Arizona considering I am from there and it is still considered my home? Or do I have to file in Washington where he and I are currently stationed?
  • Someone broke the front window of the house I am renting. I called the police and filed a report but the landlord says that she doesn't have to fix it because there haven't been any other windows in the neighborhood, so I must have been targeted. Shouldn't the landlord have to fix it?
  • If both parents agree to 50/50 custody and neither want to pay or recieve child support what is the law? Will one of the parents have to pay some amount?

  • I am going through a child paternity, custody, visitation, and child support case. I left arizona due to a domestic violence situation with my daughters father. I am in need of legal help and have tried yuma community legal services. He has paid for a really good lawyer which I have no money to afford one at all. He keeps doing things that I had no clue you could do and am terrified of losing my daughter to him because of this. He is not interested in the child for the right reasons. And the child would be in danger in his care. I am completly broke, any thing i can do to get legal help?
  • I was arrested at 19 with a pound of marijuana and charged with 4 felony counts of possession. One charge was for the marijuana, one for a medicinal bottle, one for a bong and one for another medicine bottle with a small amount from the pound in it. After going to court my case was dismissed without prejudice and i payed a $1000 fine to the court as well as completing a small course booklet sent to me at home. I am now 21 and determined to enlist in the Army so I am trying to have my case completely dismissed or expunged from my record.I am not sure which I should try for or the process on how?
  • Yesterday a beehive found its way into the eves over my front door, making it impossible to go in or exit from the front door. My wife (sadly the owner’s daughter. Not on good terms any longer) is highly allergic to bees. We have a restraining order on the landlord (father) so have little contact with him. We sent him a text to alert him of the bees. He refused to do anything that day and said he will need to get estimates, forgoing the risk this put o my wife. We found a company that came out the same day. We waiting several hours for him to comply but her refused. Are we liable for this fee
