questions & answers

Question: I am seeking to obtain temporary emergency orders. I understand I need to file a summons, complaint (petition) and request for temp.orders....however I'm not sure once those are filed what I need to do. Are there additional forms required?

Answer: The forms to a file for temporary emergency modification of custody without advanced notification to the other party can be found on the Superior Court Website. To locate the closest Superior Court use the Courts Locator The Maricopa County Superior Court Website lists requirements for obtaining emergency modification of custody. Please refer to their website for these requirements and for forms needed to file for emergency modification of custody and/or parenting time.  For additional information please refer to the Superior Court directly. Since Family Law issues can be very fact specific and are often complicated, you may want to contact an attorney for specific legal advice.
