QUESTIONS

  • I had a job as a property manager which one of the perks was a free apartment. I was arrested off property for an non-work related reason. I spent four days in jail. The charges were later dropped. When I returned from jail, I was fired and locked out of my apartment. I believe it was wrongful termination, but that's another matter. My question is even though I was an employee, am I still not covered under the Arizona Landlord/Tenant Act? I think I should have had a 10 day Notice to Vacate.
  • I live in a Mobile Home Park. I got a sink hole behind my house after a really bad storm. The water pools between the houses and when it drained, you can see the trail of debri that flowed to the back of my house where much of the water washed out the soil and left a big sink hole around my cement slab that my AC sits on. I only rent the lot. Does the park need to fix this problem or am I suppose to fix a new sink hole every time we get a big rain storm?
  • A mortgage company defrauded us, sold us on a refi from a 3.5% ARM to an 8% fixed before the industry crashed. Turns out the switched papers at the title company and put us back in an ARM with a pre-payment penalty. After Az Att Gen office sent a letter to them, did they finally modify our loan. 2 yrs later, I want to refi in to todays rates after no late payments and I am told since modified, never can refinance??? Also Att Gen office asked me to fill paperwork out for the settlement they reached with a Bank, I did, have heard nothing and the Bank says they will do nothing!

Now he is legally divorced thru korean court and I have the official notarized court documents. Is it automatically accepted here in the USA? Nothing has been done, and now we can't use our dryer. Or, the fact that there wasn't for at least 7 months, common area lights outside. Now there are....or the fact that my husband fell down in an area on the complex with no lights (outside apt. complex). HELP!
