Legal Services for Crime Victims in Arizona envisions a future where there is balance in the court system, where victims are not an afterthought, and where all victims have access to hope, healing and justice.  Legal Services for Crime Victims in Arizona’s mission is to advocate for fair treatment on behalf of crime victims that advances their rights to due process, justice, dignity and respect; to empower crime victims to raise their voices until their rights are protected as a matter of course, irrespective of the location of the commission of the crime or jurisdiction of the criminal case; and to broaden legal impact by engaging and educating the community on issues central to victims’ rights; by expanding the body of law related to upholding victims’ rights; by informing lawmakers and community partners on real consequences and impacts of law and policy on crime victims; and to promote the change of practices that diminish victims’ rights and impede victim healing.
