Staying on the Job Story

Story

"We are looking for someone to build a future with our organization." Those words were burning in my ears as I left the building. I saw my reflection in the window - I never felt so old. There I stood staring at my face as if the wrinkled lines were an etched pencil drawing: they didn't care about my experience, they thought I was too old. They are right - I am too old and tired to fight their discrimination.
