  • Trying to sell my mobile home in private rv park, landlord has taken 6 weeks in process of qualifying new tenant. Requiring all sorts of paperwork and credit card statements for past 2 years, new tenant proved high credit rating and no criminal background, finally he said he was thru and withdrew application which made sale of my mobile home cancelled. Meantime I have turned down a few buyers waiting this unreasonable amount of time for approval of a good reasonable buyer. How long is lawful to make a buyer wait for approval into a mobile home park. I fear this will never end.
  • My mom's land lord gave us a letter that we had to sign for from the mail man stating that she had 60 to move out. His reason for kicking my mother out was " He wanted new tenants"? Is that legal in Arizona also his appointment does not have any smoke dectors there mold in the bathroom and kitchen I have ask him 6+ times to address this issue and he reply is ok I'm going to have someone come out and fix the toilet n sinks but no one ever came my mother has been in the hospital 4 times now due to his neglected duty to fix things in his apartments. He is a slum land lord can someone please help.

  • My girlfriend and I allowed her brother (a 300lb man) to crash with us after he got evicted. After about 2 1/2 weeks we realized this was a terrible idea and told him he needed to leave. He packed most of his things and left but took some things that didn't belong to him. Upon him returning for the last if his stuff, we told him he was not allowed to enter the premises and we would bring him his stuff. He got mad and tried to force his way into the house and my girlfriend fought him off. She got arrested for"hitting" him. Isn't this still a form of self defense considering he doesn't live here
  • we are under contract to purchase a home in a 55+ park, the home is privately owned. at the time of signing we were given a written exception to the two dog rule by the park manager. we have to extend the closing date for two weeks and were just notified that the park rules have changed and the exception will only be granted for one year. the manager said that since the contract expires she can change the pet agreement. the exception we have does not state a time limit and the extension is only moving the closing date. do we have any recourse
  • I just found out the person I married 6 yrs., ago is wanted in Mexico for attempted murder, she uses a false identity, our marriage may not be legal, she is a fraud and only married me for Immagration purposes. I went to immigration for assistance and guidance and they took the complaint but showed very little concern. I am told I should file for an annulment but I need an attorney do take care of the paperwork and file with the court. I need a domestic attorney, I dont have much funds, she has taken everything and left me in a poor financial state. Can someone recommend an attorney.....
  • My apartment building is newly owned by a new company. They're saying that everything that was okayed by the old apartment manager does not mean anything so my boyfriend and I live together we are not currently under a lease and she's saying that he can't be here even though neither of us have a lease and we have both been residing here for a few months now
  • In our lease it states that we must perfrom regular maintenance to the outside. We live in an HOA, and have complied with all request, and kept the property in good condition. We are about to move out, and suddenly the landlord is saying that we must perform landscaping on trees, and bushes that were neglected for years. We have kept everything well trimmed, but there are areas that there is at least 10 years of old growth (cactus, and palm trees). How much am I on the hook for with respect to pre-existing landscape conditions.
  • The home I rented went into foreclosure and was sold, unbeknownst to me or to the property management company (manager was not the owner). I made 2 rental payments to the management company during the time between the home being sold and us becoming aware of it. I made a CFK agreement with the new owner and requested my deposit, as well as the 2 rental payments back from the manager. They told me to give them a key and they would return my deposit, even though I made it clear I was not moving out. I returned my key and they refused to return my deposit or payments. Do I have any recourse?
