  • I have a service dog and was recently informed that my apartment cannot charge me rent for him. However, at the time of my move in, I was unaware of this and the landlord did not make this known to me so I have paid $20 a month pet rent for the past two years. Am I entitled to reimbursement? They say it was not their responsibility to inform me and that they are not obligated to inform tenants of this exception. And that it was my responsibility to know this about my dog and to inform them. They are no longer charging me as of July as I have now documented that the dog is exempt
  • Hello, My husband and I divorced after 46 years of marriage Jan 16,2014. We remained in the same home until I was hospitalized and then moved in with my daughter. My husband got our vehicles in the divorce. He has since passed away Jan of 2015. I found that the vehicles were never transferred from "or" status his name or my name. I am legally entitled to the vehicle. His son was named as the sole heir in his trust.

  • I just recently moved from California and can’t see to find info on these admin and late fees. I paid a $265 admin fee during application process. After I moved in something went through causing that payment to bounce back. I received a 5 day notice to pay that says my “rent” is late and also assessed a $10 day late fee. 1. Can I be evicted over an admin fee. 2. Is this form correct in stating its “rent” 3. Are these late fees legal and can they evict me over them 4. Can I be evicted over a reversed admin fee?
