  • The AC went out in our rental, today. We had it serviced two weeks ago and there was nothing wrong with it then. We put in a service order as soon as our renters called but they can not get our to fix it until tomorrow. The renters went to a hotel and our expecting us to pay for it. Are we responsible for paying for their hotel room?
  • My son's ex-girlfriend is pregnant. She claimed he was the father. She has a history of mental health issues. She will not tell him where she lives, who her doctor is or what hospital she's going to. They were getting along OK until he said he wants a paternity test. He wants to be responsible if the baby is his. Can a court get her address to serve a subpoena and make her do the paternity test?

My landlord routinely gives notice of intent to enter by saying that they will be starting inspections on a certain date for the entire apartment complex, but it may take weeks for them to enter any given apartment.   • Me and my ex wife have shared custody of our six year old daughter for the past 5 and half years. My ex wife now wants to move from chandler to queen creek, changing my daughters school to the queen creek area. I stated this was not fair because my drive would increase to 15 extra miles per trip, adding more drive time during my visitation days. Is this a fair assumption on my part? If we go to court what should I expect from a judge's descision?

  • Before my husband died in 2007 we took out a loan with citi financial. Our 2004 truck was used as collateral.My husband was the primary signer. I paid on this loan as long as I could but stopped 4 years ago. The truck was never repossessed and still sits in my yard. I contacted Citi as I was willing to give up the truck. They told me I had to send them a death certificate. But if they had repossessed it they would just come pick it up. They also said to get the title back I would need to send them an estate administrator document. According to the probate judge this would cost about $1,000. I cannot afford that. will I be able to ever get the title back?
