  • my kids father file for coustody in 2008 and has had my kids since then, the case was dismissed because he did not continue the propper filling f paperwork. i have been in and out of prision in the passed years but i have no contact with my kids or there father since 2008. i would like to know what legal process i would have to go through to see my kids and possibly have coustody? also is coustody even possible for me to obtain being that he has had them for the past 3years? and being that i have a criminal record?

  • My landlord told me on the day i moved out (11/30/08) that she had fourteen days to finalize my deposit. it is now the 16th of december and when i called her she said that she had fourteen "working days" to finalize my deposit? after reviewing this website i find nothing about working days stated anywhere in the law and i was wondering what rights i have as a former tenant.

  • I am renting to own my manufactured home from my landlord who is in turn paying off loan company. The septic tank is broken and flooding badly enough that one side of the house has sunken into the ground. The clogging from the septic has caused leaks and clogs in water pipes causing mold in walls and insulation under house ruined. A lic. Plumber informed me that the septic tank got broken when she installed it previous to my renting. It is also illegally placed too close to house. Also, my mother paid my rent in February and when I asked my landlord if she received this money she stated no. I called my mother to confirm she did go there then I called landlord back and told her I knew she was lying about it and she admitted that she had in fact lied about how much rent I actually owe her. What can I do about all of this?
  • Our apartment has a black mold problem because of a slow leak in the wall. When out landlords insurance adjustor came to see the damage he informed us that the landlord was required to test the mold to find out if it was toxic. When we asked our landlord about testing he said he didn't have to test it just clean it up. Which is true? We would like them to test it so we know what we have been living in.

What is a "Parenting evaluation" and what kinds of questions should I expect? Will there be an opportunity for me to provide the evaluator with inforation? Thank you!

My uncle passed away September 22, 2014 and my sister wants to sell the business...but I have been running the business and want to keep it. She has moved away and declared she wants nothing to do with it. Will I be forced to buy her out in order to keep the business?
