  • Aug. of 2010 the sheriff came to my house telling me the landlord called them because no one should be living there and I needed to call her. He dialed his cell phone. The lady on the other end said I need to send my rent to her. I asked what happened to my landlord was she dead and did not get a response. On Sept 1st I started to send her my rent. We have no written or verbal agreement. The property tax bill is in a dead persons name. Now she wants to evict me because I told her the roof leaks. Can she do this?
  • We have lived in an over 55 community for over 5 years always paying space rent by check, and never being late. Now they say they will not accept payment by check by anyone and if you try to pay by rent they will return your check. They want you to pay by portal or they can automatically deduct from your account. Is this legal?

  • My Landlord has started Eviction proceedings and has become quite vicious about the whole issue. I do not dispute the fact that I am late with the rent. (Serious Medical Issues arose) and have been attempting to make arrangements for the arrears and current amounts due. He is refusing to discuss that option. He is now adding that I am a problem to the other neighbors, in addition huge maintenance list he has told me has cost the landlord undue stress and hardship.   • if a cop pulls me over and i didnt stop because i didnt know why i was getting pulled over and got out and ran.and then got caught and they searched my car and ran my info. everything came back clean. at the time i bought the carbut didnt have insurance or registration but the cop let me slide on that. and he just kept asking why i ran. so after the ambulance said i was good the cop also said i was ok to go. i didnt sign any papers or recieve any forms or anything just let me go. 6 mnths later i get a letter saying i need to get my prints. should i have to do this? he let me go?should i?

They said that I had to pay for the pest control people to come out and spray ..
