  • We have been having trouble with our A/C unit for over a year now and each time the landlord "fixes" it it breaks soon after. Last summer our place was uninhabitable for 3 weeks. The landlord "fixed" our AC twice already this week. Today they showed up to let us know it's still broken. What do we do?
  • I agreed to lease my condo to a women and her two small children for $600. a month with a $400. deposit. She gave me $310. to hold the condo. I mailed her the lease for her to sign and never received it back. She has been in the condo for 2 months now and has only paid $300. towards the rent and deposit. I place an eviction notice on her door as she will not answer her phone. She responded see you in court. What can I do?

The heat is included in the rent, but that doesn't give them the right to not maintain it properly. HE IS ON THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE BUT IVE PHYSICALLY AND FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED MY SON WITHOUT A DIME FROM HIS FATHER OR HELP FROM HIS FATHERS FAMILY. HE'S MISSED ALL BIRTHDAYS, HOLIDAYS, ETC. HOW CAN I GET FULL LEGAL CUSTODY OF MY SON AND HOW EXACTLY WOULD THE PROCESS WORK IF HIS FATHER COMES AND GOES? I AM NOT LOOKING FOR CHILD SUPPORT. I JUST WANT LEGAL DOCUMENTATION SO THAT HE IS NOT ABLE TO TRY TO TAKE MY SON FROM ME. SOMEONE HELP??
