  • My divorce and custody order was done in Arizona. My ex husband and I both moved out of state over a year ago. Is our court order from Arizona still valid or do we need to go back to court? Thank you for your help!
  • I have just started to get my wages garnished agian from a car loan I had with a bank five years ago. I started a new job and was getting garnished from my last employment I had gotten my total down more then half and now that they have started garnishing at my new employment the total I owe has more then doubled off my original balance in which they sued me for in the beginging, my question is just how much intrest can a bank (not a collection agency) charge on a defaulted loan that is in the process of being garnished legally? I will end up being garnished for the next 6 years at this rate.

  • I am renting to own my manufactured home from my landlord who is in turn paying off loan company. The contract she wrote and we both signed but was never notarized or witnessed states that I will rent the home" as is" meaning she is not responsible for any damages. The septic tank is broken and flooding badly enough that one side of the house has sunken into the ground. The clogging from the septic has caused leaks and clogs in water pipes causing mold in walls and insulation under house ruined. A lic. Plumber informed me that the septic tank got broken when she installed it previous to my renting. It is also illegally placed too close to house. Also, my mother paid my rent in February and when I asked my landlord if she received this money she stated no. I called my mother to confirm she did go there then I called landlord back and told her I knew she was lying about it and she admitted that she had in fact lied about how much rent I actually owe her. What can I do about all of this?
  • I live in an HOA that has a file within my account called "owner file". This file contains personal information related to my history in the community such as violation notices, aplications for changes, etc. I would like to know which area, if any, of state law covers the maintenance of this file which seems to be an invasion of privacy.

  • In 2005, my wife at the time called the police said I threatened her. County sheriffs arrested me. She admitted it was a lie. Now almost ten years later I'm in another state, put in for a concealed weapons license and it showed up and I was denied. Was told I could try again in a year. My question, even though not charged can this be removed easy? Note back then I even had a ccw in az.
  • We have lived in a rental since 2009. Two years ago, the house was sold to a new owner and now we have a property management company that we talk to. (Prior was family friend owner). There is a large Tree in the back yard, over 30 ft tall, that has been maintained by the previous owner personally and by some people the property management sent over three different times since taking over the property. Due to a recent storm, the tree has broken branches 20 + feet in the air. The property management company was notified and have told me its my responsibilty. Is this true or not?
