QUESTIONS

  • I own a mobile home in a park does the landlord have the right to tell me that I can't live in my Mobile on their lot in the park
  • I tried to get the order of protection against me on behalf of my daughter quashed and my ex was at the hearing with a lawyer, witnesses, evidence, etc. and I was there with just me and my fiance. Can I file to get another hearing since I didn't know that is what to expect. She filed it and I wasn't there. Why did she get to be there when I was suppose to plea my side?

  • My landlord and I agreed upon me sending him 12 post dated checks for each month of my lease to be deposited on the appropriate month. After 6 months renting from him I closed my account due to fraudulent activity and have decided not to open another. I notified my landlord of the closure and advised I would be either mailing or making a direct deposit into his account going forward. I have never been late with my rent and my landlord is now telling me that the post dated checks are a requirement of my lease. Again, we agreed on the checks but I never understood it as a requirement.
  • I presently residing in a over 55 complex for the past three yrs. Never had to pay for rental insurance. Now, with the new lease coming, they are asking for payment on an insurance. My question is: Is this insurance a LAW? Do I have to pay a yearly insurance or montly? If there is no law, I do not/cannot afford to pay. As well as other seniors in the complex. We only live on a SS checks. Many do not have enough to their personal needs. I cannot pay for a lawyer either. I just need to know the LAW on the subject so that I know what to do.
