QUESTIONS

  • My son friend 14 year old kid is homeless and staying in different friends home every day..his mom has never contacted any adults and the kid doesn't know where she is at ..what can I do to get this kid help
  • My ex got 1200 taken out of his federal return because of arrears, where does that money go?
  • Purchased 2 timeshares in late 90's, which worked well for family at the time and both are paid off in full and current with fees. Life changes, health changes, it no longer works. Have researched to find possible resolution to cancel/terminate contract and have found nothing but SCAMS! Granted, it wasn't the brightest idea to purchase but let's claim it a "lesson learned". I now am trying to educate myself on the law and it's been pretty difficult finding answers and people I can trust or those who do "timeshares". Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  • Should I seek counsel in a case where I ihave a protective order and defendant filed an answer with a lawyer?
  • My widowed mother disinherited my sister who is my only sibling. Her will states that she has 2 children and my sister and I are named. She states that "I am making no distribution to (sister's name inserted) in this will." I am the executor and I am the sole inheritor of her entire estate. Am I required to notify my sister of our mother's' passing? Am I required to post a notice in the local paper here or, if public notice is required and I post it online? Where? The sister is in Florida. My mother and I live in Arizona.
  • I live in a mobile home park and own the trailer, not the lot, and our landlord is saying that we have thirty days to show proof of insurance otherwise we'll get evicted. My question is can she legally force us to get insured when almost all insuranfr companies wont even touch trailers?
  • Is it legal for a caregiver to take funds from their patients and can you give case precedents? Also does this apply to power of attorney too?
  • Our property management company charged us outrageous amounts for various things when we moved out. Are we able to ask for reciepts of actual cost?
  • What can I do about the Guardian & Conservator, my sister, of the family trust who sued me to prevent my visiting my mother? She falsely accused me of being a threat to my mother. I have spent all of my savings, sold my car, sold personal possessions like furniture, jewelry and tightened my belt as much as possible to stay afloat. Jackie (the sister, guardian & conservator already mentioned) lies to the court continuously about, for example the assets in the trust and slandering and libeling me. In effect, I am paying for her to sue me.
  • I recently went to a lab to have my annual labs drawn. I have been to this lab multiple times in the past few years. This last time, I was taken aside and presented with a bill for $ 980. dollars. from 2011 like 7 years ago. I have lived in my home for 24 years and I was never sent a bill for any labs costs. I did have health insurance at the time which should have covered it. What is the statute of limitations on medical bills?
