  • I am a past sex offender. Not proud of it, but trying to keep my nose clean. I am home less and lost mt paper from the last registration, so i dont know when me renewal date is. I have been busy with the death of my daughter who passed away recently. Also I have been looking to going to school so Im not a burden on Social Security...I want to keep in compliance. Thank you.
  • We had an installer for a cable company in our house. My dog broke through the gate and bit his pants which scraped his leg. No puncture through the skin, no bleeding. Not trying to minimize what happened. It was scary. He put in a claim with his workmans comp. Now the Workmans Comp insurance company is sending us notices that we are responible to re-emburse them. The notice says "Medical Lein" Is this legal? They are being paid by the company and they also want to collect from us? The letter says I should submit a claim to my home owners insurance. Help? Thank you, J
  • Does the Superior Court have a procedure for expedited processing of time sensitive cases? If so, would that procedure be applicable to a foreclosure of the right to redeem a tax lien?
  • My next door neighbor has a 4 yr. old autistic grandson who keeps throwing toys and small objects over the block wall into my back yard. He has also thrown a rock and smashed his mother's car windshield. You'd think they'd keep these projectiles out of his reach or supervise him better! I have small dogs who have already chewed plastic toys into sharp pieces, and I worry about them choking or getting hit in the head. What are my rights, and what can I do?
  • What happens if a landlord fails to give an itemized list of damages, and the amount owed to landlord in the 14 day period?
  • Let me try this question again. I have been granted a new trial. I do not need to know how to motion for a new trial. At the new trial, how does it go? Will the testimony be the same or can victims and witnesses change testimony? Is a new trial just a rehash of the same testimony with a new jury? Thank you!
  • What if my employer does not believe my reason for the leave?
  • I am applying to live in an apartment, and the application asks for my birth certificate. My peers think that is unheard of and that I need to double check why they are asking for that personal documentation. Does it have anything to do with the laws regarding illegal immigration? Or does it have to do with checking to see if I am a legal citizen, but why can't they just use my drivers license and/or social security number?
  • When my doctor told me I was pregnant, he also said that does make me legally emancipated. Is this true? Ive searched so much on it and everyone says ots not.
  • Can my lanlord come after me for the money if i break my lease early, and the house is in foreclosure?
