QUESTIONS

  • Hi, Is the landlord responsible for paying for the water, for a mobile home?
  • I have lived in the current house for 3 1/2 years. First 2 years we signed a lease. When it came time to sign a 3rd one the landlord said after 2 she doesn't require any more and we would just go month to month. We're have never been late. 6 months ago she raised our rent $125 to $1350. Now today she sent a text saying rental rates have gone up and starting next month she is raising it by $600 up to $1950. Nothing is that high in the area. I am a long haul truck driver. Only home 3 days a month. Don't know how I am going to be able to find a place, pack, and move in 3 days. Is this legal?

He has taken steps to hide his whereabouts and stated that if he had to pay child support he would take custody. I have been with my current fiancé for about 3 years and he would like to adopt her. Can he do that before the divorce?
  • Post Decree Modificiation for Legal Decision Making and Parenting time: The court vactated a BIA attorney hearing due to a report not being available and moved to dismiss the entire Petiton and place the case on the inactive calander. Opposing party requesting trial with no new evidence? Can I object? Or request a evidentiary hearing as we just had trial Oct 2017 (10 months ago).
  • My daughter left the house and been gone for almost a month now. I know where she is and call her everyday, but she wont answer only txt me saying she don't have to listen or answer to me. She says she is home. I already look like a bad parent letting her be gone that long and feel like i failed as a parent. The friend she stays at i barely know and her mom allows my daughter to be there without even wondering or try to communicate with me. She brought her home a few times that i know of to pick up clothes. What can i do? I want her home.
  • My daughter was trying on clothes at Sears with a friend of hers. They were in separate booths and after they left they were stopped by a security guard who found several items of clothing in her friends bag. My daughter did not have a purse or a bag on her. The police were called, but the video clearly showed that they were using separate dressing rooms. The police declined to file charges against my daughter although charges have been filed against the friend. We just received a letter from a law firm representing Sears demanding payment in the amount of $168.00. Can they legally bill us?
  • Hello. I am finally attempting to get a divorce from my husband. I am from WA State and fled to get away from him and his family who were threatening my children and I. We have one small child together. When he was a child his mom changed his last name, not legally from his birth name to her maiden name. And we were married with her maiden name, not the name on his birth certificate. My question is does this make our marriage legal?
