My roommate flaked out on me and I need to pay a termination fee for the apartment. We are both signed on the lease but I need to know if my roommate is also responsible to split the termination fee and if so, what if my roommate refuses? Will she be responsible for paying her part? The termination fee is four months of rent and I am able to pay two (half) of the overall fee. My landlords said if she won't pay her part, it will be sent to collections and they will also require me to pay the remaining balance if she doesn't.

Our landlord informed us this morning that her realtor lost his license and asked that my husband put in writing that we'll move out asap. What is my rights? I work for a major company and while I had a temp manager they stole two of my major accounts without my knowledge and transferred them to other reps on other teams and I lost out on 1,000,000 in sales. The company has policy in protecting reps from going into accounts that does not belong to them or assigned to them. Behind my back they stole my accounts and next thing I know they closed about a 1,000,000 in business that was rightfully mine. Do I have legal rights? Our company rules of conduct / ethics and policy stAtes that no other reps are allowed to go into other assigned accounts nor other territory that is assigned to other sales reps. This all happened during the time I did not have a current manager in place because my manager left the company and the company was looking for new manager to fill that position. As I stated I had a temp manager who was not my manager. Please advise

Tenant rights in apartment in regards to Disabilities? My complex has been raising rents regularly. I just found out that they are going to charge 15 dollars a month for premium parking they do have a few handicap parking spaces but not many. Can I ask my landlord to give me disability parking near my apartment. She told me if there is no parking I have to park in the other lot which is far for me to walk with my oxygen tanks. I live in a rental apartment. The microwave oven door fell apart and when I called to have it repaired I was charged for the repairs which cost more than if I had replaced the oven. There are also fees that were added on for community amenities that were not listed in the lease, such as community electricity and common gas, and valet waste and waste management. ?Can the apartment complex charge me for these even though they are not listed in the lease?

Due to domestic violence/ child support I have received permanent guardianship of my 16 year old niece. Her Mother is still paying child support to the Father in another county. How do I get that paid to me and also get a child support order in place for the Father? Is there any SSI or govt assistance I can get help from?
