QUESTIONS

  • What is the local contact number where I can receive the most up to date information pertaining to my case number.
  • I have a neighbor that found a court notice slid under his door to appear in court on Monday I thought these had to be hand delivered in person and given to the person that needs to be in court or sent by certified mail am I wrong
  • without a pre-nup is money in retirement funds community propery? what about gains on those funds? I need some legal advise and don't know where to go.
  • Six months into a twelve month lease my landlord sold the property. Now the new landlord is telling me that I must sign a new lease. Although she is not raising our rent, other provisions of the new lease are objectionable to me. Must I sign this new lease to preserve my status as a legal tenant, or must the new landlord accept the terms of my original lease?

We would like to file the 10 day repair notice but can't afford to move out. Can we file for damages while still living in the apt? Are we allowed to stay until the case is over?
  • I am about to become a grandmother in December ~ my first ~ my daughter-in-law is making statements that she does not possibly want their child to have my son's last name, but rather her maiden name. I am not sure where she is going with this scenario, but I suspect she is anticipating something that would separate relationships between us.
