We found we have a lien on our property from12/22/06 and it should have been removed but it wasn't and now the company is out of business so how do we go about removing it never went to court on it it supposedly for a bond to release my son from jail on 12/22/06 recorded 01/05/2007 bt we find no court record that my son was in jail those days I have already checked all his criminal records and neither me or my wife remember this transaction

My 85 year old mother passed away suddenly on May 25. 2013. She had a lease and a security deposit of $200.00. The apartment complex has suddenly (after 3 months of attempting to get it returned after perfect walk through results) decided that I am not able to get any security deposit. Also, refuse to return my extra monies paid to stay for 14 days to remove my mother's items. I was assured that all of the money would be returned to me but now that they have a new owner, they state that they will not return any of the money that they agreed to return to me. AZ law states that they were to notify me within 14 days if any problems with refund with her security deposit or they have to pay double the amount back. Is this applicable in this case? I have continuously attempted to contact them regarding this issue and I finally got a bunch of passing the blame answers and this is three months late.

My ex recentley moved in with his girlfriend. He is refusing to give me his new address. I don't feel comfortable sending my kids for 5 weeks without knowing where they will be. Do I have to send them if he refuses to give me his address?

I live with my ex girlfriend. It has become turbulent. The past year plus she has physically/verbally/objects thrown at me/harassing email-text/threats on my life-police-suing me etc. This is a daily event. I have been told by family to file a PFA. She has no car and we dont know anybody here(From out of state). I work at home and pay 99% of the bills. Garnishment, What amount is allowed to be taken out by law, if there is 2 garnishments, can they take more than 25%, I currently have 1 garnishment, now another CC company wants to garnish also. What is the max they can take ..thanks

The property management company is trying to charge a new deposit. I've lived here since 3/5/19 and have already paid a deposit to the previous property manager that was handling this unit. He was fired due to theft. He drafted my lease to show my move in date to be 4/30/19 instead of 3/5/19. I paid a deposit and rent for march and april and the property management company has no record of it and are unable to locate the person who was fired. What can I do?
