  • My sister has been deemed terminal. She has 4 young children. She probably has a couple months to live and is stressing because her oldest daughters don't want to live with their dad but they currently have joint custody arrangements. Her daughters are 14 and 11 and their dad has another custody case that he just recently lost along with having a CPS investigation opened due to abuse from him to child. These girls were also in the car when he was arrested for DUI. Where do we need to start to be able to obtain sole immediate custody for these girls? we need some thing quick..

  • I'm 63 and pay rent and have a lease in a senior apartment. The landlady is allowing the tenants next door have their non-senior daughter and 2 grandchildren live next door for free for a year and on top of all the chaos and noise from the kids and extra friends and family constantly coming and going this is not the senior living that the landlady advertised when i signed a lease. and to make matters even worse the woman with the 2 kids is a convicted thief . allow the tenants have open mailboxes which makes it extra stress. i try talking to the landlady for a yr. and im being ignored. help!
  • My sister began occupying my fathers house when he became incapacitated. Unfortunately he has since passed away (11 mos. since she moved in there, which she said was supposed to be temporary). I am the trustee, she is to receive 1/4 of the estate once it's settled. However, she hasnt worked in 3 years, has no desire or attempted to either....she says she isn't going to move out. and says we cant kick her out. As the trustees, do we have the legal right to get her out? She's never paid rent and we paid her other bills in good faith so she could get back on her feet.There is no lease.help!

  • I was suppose to receive 25,000$ when I turned 18. Well when I turned 18 and tried to see if the money was in my bank account they had told me it was all spent. How would the bank let my parents withdraw my money? I'm the one who sufferd from my car crash, is it against the law for the bank to let my parents withdraw all of that money?   • we have been in our lease for 12 months. In our initial lease it stated that the owner was to replace water heater and repair roof leak. We are about to renew and he still has not completed the repairs. The kitchen ceiling is coming down and he says it's our responsibility to repair. I stated that the root leak caused all of the damage and that the repairs are part of the roof leak. He has not repaired the roof and we are 12 months into the lease. What can I do to force him to repair or simply breach of contract for repairs.
  • My lease began 5/19/17 the landlord promised the house would be ready to occupy. I only moved some furniture there 5/20/17 moved more furniture used toilet discovered nothing toilet tanks have black mold growing . Requested remediation of mold. Only removal of mold occurred no cleaning of tanks to remove spores or tencales upon inspection if tanks evening of 5/21/17 new mold was reappearing tank had strong odor of mold when openened. Is landlord required to remove this health hazard? Am I bound by law to the lease? Do I have rights to reimbursement of moving expense?
