QUESTIONS

  • My son passed away June 17, 2016, he was 32 years old. He had never married and had no children. His only asset is a checking account at our local credit union. He had no co owner on the account and did not set up a beneficary. We believe there is under $2000 in the account and would like to close it out and just donate the funds. Since he had no Will and we do not have the money to open probate, is there any other option for us?

When I contacted the owner and the management the 30 day reservation is against the rules of the facility. We also received made up fines from the person lying that they were generated from the homeowners association when I spoke to the homeowners association there was no such fine ever levied how much is the satiation call the police and has a police report from this particular person being fraudulent. Where do we go for help to get our deposit back. Is this person even our landlord
  • I have a person who lives on my property without lease. We started to have a relationship. It has now involved the police and domestic violence. The police will not arrest this person and I have called them several times after physical confritations they say his word against mine no witnesses. I want him gone evicted or something. I can't seem to stop the police from telling him that he has tenant rights. He has caused multiple damages to my house and my property outside. He has taken my keys and locked me out of my house etc. What do I do?
  • I paid a holding deposit and got a receipt for a particular apartment that apparently is now no longer going to be mine and I'm just curious if the landlord can legally keep my holding deposit when he is not giving you the unit that I put the holding deposit on?
  • The owner of the park is selling mobile homes. He is the lienholder. If he re-sells & you are on the Title as owner. Can he re-sell it without you signing off on the Title
  • Our landlord refuses to fix our swamp cooler and the resulting problems. The swamp cooler leaks water, which has damaged the roof so that it leaks in our bedroom & closet for the last 3 years. This year it blew a fuse, so the landlord is using OUR extention cord for power. Now, whenever the cooler is turned on, the faucets and metal parts of our toilet/sink are electrified. We would like to file the 10 day repair notice but can't afford to move out. Can we file for damages while still living in the apt? Are we allowed to stay until the case is over?
  • I filed and received an Order Of Protection, including the exclusive rights to my house and property. That was around the 3rd of June. The Judge said they would serve it at no cost by that day or the very next day. They did not make it by on the same day. The next day everyone had to leave the house due to the house being chemically fumigated. So the Order was not served. I assumed they would return and they have not. Also the police have been back to the house since then due to the same reasons I acquired the Order. I told them about the Order and they made it seem like its not valid? Is that true?
  • We are being evicted, our landlord served us three papers, each of which stated a different reason for eviction, loudness, smoking, non-payment of rent etc. Do her statements have to be consistent with one another? If so, can I use her inconsistency as a defence in court?
  • My ex is enrolled in a tribe here in arizona along with our 4 children (i am not enrolled with the tribe). He has failed to pay child support for the past year. How do i enforce child support through the tribe? Is it possible?
