  • It's 7/31/2018 my lease ends 8/1/18 . I'm finishing up with the cleaning of the property and I just went to fill up a bucket and have no water. Can the owner have the water turned off if I'm still here? I'm worried about them trying to keep my deposit so I planned on staying here all day and cleaning but I can't do that without water.
  • Ilived in a house for seven years and was wrogfully evicted because the landlord wouldnot fix the septic which was over flowing running under my house which was beyond toxix and smelled bad on the whole block. I ended up calling the EPA on him and he ended up getting fined 7000 dollars. once he found out i did it he evicted me out of retaliation. is this legal or not and whats the statute of limitations on this?

The relationship ended with the father filing custody papers with both parents having equal time with the child. He never has paid child support with my daughter never asking for it. He has been in several relationships with women married and divorced along with moving 10 times within 1 1/2 years. Long story short, my daughter has provided her with a stable home. He has hired a lawyer, she can't afford one. She has used legal aide but they won't go to the hearing. I'm worried she will loose wo/ a lawyer.

The apartments have come out to "clear the pipes" a number of times but there is now water damage to the floor in the kitchen and when they came tp fix the floor they just reglued the fake wood down. I WAS SUPPOSE 2 TSTIFY IN COURT BUT DIDNT CUZ I WAS 2 SCARED. SO IT WAS DISMISSED. NOW THAT IM NOT SCARED ANYMORE N HAVE BEEN AWAY FROM HIM FOR 3YRS. CAN IT BE BROUGHT BACK UP. CAN HE BE CHARGED NOW. HOW DO I FIND OUT?
  • My landlord agreed to accept my late payment however when I notified him my air conditioner wasn't working he refused to fix and demanded I pay additional late fees if I wanted it fixed then I had a week or so to move. I haven't paid the rent due to my fear of being evicted after paying leaving me w nothing. My roof has a hole in it repaired 4 times that leaks w black mold. He's aware of all w pics and messages stating he won't fix air until he's paid. Can he do that?
  • My ex is doing this to our son. Where can I get help? The judge doesn't see my side of this and there was significant domestic violence in our marriage. The judge has granted my ex custody and he is a dangerous alcoholic. My daughter, his step daughter is so afraid for her little brother because she knows 1st hand what her step-father is capable of yet the judge won't let her in the court room. My ex is extremely good at conning and manipulating the system and has the judge fooled. I don't know what to do and now I can't even see our son. What can I do?

I know this is how abusers keep their spouses aroun. Is there some place I can find statistics on how many abusers say this and how many actually carry it out? Also if she went the police and the courts the day he hit her and showed the bruises would he be arrested
