QUESTIONS

  • when trying to find my divorce degree to apply for ex-husbands social security after his death, finally got sent to the filing dept. and the clerk said there was no signed divorce degree in the file. The judge had never signed a divorce decree. she said i was still married to him but the ssa courts won't accept my word How do I fix the situation so I can get my ex's social security. altogether we were married 12 yrs but I disqualified because we didn't remarry for 2 yrs versus 1 yr. Neither of us ever remarried
  • Let me try this question again. I have been granted a new trial. I do not need to know how to motion for a new trial. At the new trial, how does it go? Will the testimony be the same or can victims and witnesses change testimony? Is a new trial just a rehash of the same testimony with a new jury? Thank you!
  • My 16 year old son was taken in a fatal car crash. My ex wife and I have been divorced for years and I had sole custody of my son. She is trying to claim the insurance from the wreck after I had filed my claim. What are the laws on this certain situation?
  • can a landlord make us store his toy hauler and keep the a/c running when its stored on premises. It was presented to us as a one time thing until they leave for another state which was going to take place once we did a walk thru?
  • I let a friend move in with a verbal agreement that she would pay rent when she got a job - it has been a year and no job and no rent. Do I still need to go to court to evict her if she has never paid anything?
  • I need all the help I can get for my 2 year old daughter and myself being 4 months pregnant. Our home with all of our personal belongings burned to the ground on friday the 13th 2011 at night. It left us homeless and absolutely nothing left of ours.
  • My daughter is not married and has a 5 month old baby. The father is already listed on the birth certificate and now wants to "sign away" any parental rights. Is it possible to just sign away all rights? Will he still have to provide child support if he signs away all the rights?
  • We have paid out 36000 for a house & have a signed notarized Letter of intent to sale/purchase but the owner died & benefactor has sold our house out from under us refusing to honor the deal that we had with their father. what is my recourse?
  • My friend and her boyfriend are renting a 2 apartment, and both signed the lease. The can afford it alone. If move in, can I pay them or do have to sign the lease as well?
  • I am considering buying a house in Mesa, and looked on the Maricopa County Recorder website fnd see that the owner is listed as a conservator with ownership with minor children as conservatorship. What does this mean? Does this mean minors can own property in AZ?
