  • My friend just started dating someone who has to attend anger management courses because his ex accused him of domestic violence. He claims she had no proof and that he was not able to defend himself. I want to know if it is true that AZ courts will send someone to anger management classes without any proof of actual violence?
  • I am diabetic, taking medication, and receiving food stamps but I need to eat three times per day. The amount stamps I receive is not enough for three meals a day and toward the end of the month I have to limit to one meal per day. Is an increase possible?
  • I was working as a health care worker and a patient didn't trust me because i was a new employee. So he made a big deal of everything making the environment difficult. I dont know whati did but he complained. My boss could have switched us out but he sent me back. He then says he could fire me and get my license took. I later find out that I resigned. I was an on call employee and he just stopped calling me in. No write ups, nothing. So i get a letter in the mail saying I quit. Do i have a case?

  • Hello, my lease explicitly states that 30 days notice prior to lease ending date is required if I wanted to move out after the lease is up. At the last second we just decided that we are going to move. What penalties would I be facing monetarily speaking for not giving my landlord 30 days notice. Today is October 30th 2017. My lease states that ends November 1st 2017. However in the lease agreement we agreed that rent would be due on the 5th each month. So technically I'm paid up through the 5th of November.
  • I am not married to my daughters father, we recently split due to domestic violence. I am talking with him and his lawyer to get a resolution before our temporary orders hearing. The only term we are not agreeing on is that I want to stipulate that my daughter and I can relocate to Colorado in a year. His attorney keeps saying the courts will not accept that even if we come to an agreement on everything else before our court date. I spoke to an attorney who told me the opposite. How do I word this to his attorney or is his attorney right?
  • Have Lived at the same complex for the past 3 years. The complex has new owners for the past several months. Old management used to give me (at my request) a copy of my check with the stamp and /or signature of received. Deadline to pay the rent is the 3rd of each month. Now the new management refuses to hand me a receipt before the 4th of the month. My question is, where is the proof that I handed the check to them in time to avoid late fees? There lot of rumors among neighbors that they are trying to scare people out to renovate more units and raise the rent. What are my rights? Thank you.
  • I leased a house and because of my credit was told if I wanted to rent it, I had to pay, at move in, the first months rent, deposit of one month and a full second month rent, so a total of 3 months rent. I believe that is illegal. Second issue, the house sold and the management company only transferred 1 months rent to new owners as my deposit, not 2 mo. I asked them about it and they never got back to me saying they had to locate the rent roles. I recently brought it back up with them and was told "Nothing we can do, we are done with that property:" How can I get my money back from them?

I was given a 5 day notice of non rental payment on 7/1/2015 and minutes later she returned with an acceptance of partial payment where our agreed schedule of rent is divided into 4 with 1st payment due 7/10/2015 I was on time that week but after for the 17th I was late in which my mom helped me with and landlord accepted assuring I'd get to stay as long as all was paid by the first that was 3 days ago. Today was court I was told wouldn't have to go I had an accident a week ago broke collar bone & arm &4 mos pregnant. Do I have to go and what about my moms money?
