my landlord back on january 21st 2020 gave me a 30 day notice to vacate, i moved out february 3rd, 2020, however my landlord is still charging me for the full month of february. can my landlord do this? i dont see how my landlord can charge me for the full month of february since i moved out february 3rd 2020, the rent should be pro-rated for the 3 days of february that i was still at my old apartment?

A California court awarded me full legal and physical custody of my daughter after her father hit her. He has been convicted of domestic violence, drug and misc criminal charges. He is supposedly "clean" now and court ordered that he can call my daughter once per week. This is the extent of their relationship. I currently live in Arizona and want to be sure that if something were to happen to me, my sister would have guardianship. My daughter is now 13, does not want to live with him and I strongly believe it is not in her best interest to live with him. She has very close relationship with my sister and my sister would provide stability. Can I "transfer" my custodial rights to my sister and direct that custody not go to my ex or his family in a will?

My boyfriend was supporting us him & I are no longer together . How can I get child support from the guy without him getting any legal right

We rented our current residence in September 2018. The owner of the property said we did not have access to the front entry area closet and it is locked. There are also other large items that were in the house ( the largest is a China cabinet that we were told we could not damage and a few rather large wall paintings) Nothing was said during the lease negotiations nor is there anything stated in the lease agreement about these items. I want to use the closet and the other items are taking needed space. Technically I'm paying the landlord to store his stuff. What are my rights as a tenant?
