QUESTIONS

  • My wife and I are currently separated, and I am residing in Pennsylvania at the current time. I was able to attend only the first half of the parenting class before I moved out of state. Is it necessary to complete the course if I am no longer residing in Arizona? If so, is it offered as a "correspondence course"?
  • I have a court trial coming up. I recently put some subpoenas in 7 to be exact, and with in 16 hours had the courts call me to have pre-trial hearing in judges chambers, concerning subpoenas. I've never heard of this and was wondering what I should expect, how to carry myself, etc... Thanks
  • Purchased 2 timeshares in late 90's, which worked well for family at the time and both are paid off in full and current with fees. Life changes, health changes, it no longer works. Have researched to find possible resolution to cancel/terminate contract and have found nothing but SCAMS! Granted, it wasn't the brightest idea to purchase but let's claim it a "lesson learned". I now am trying to educate myself on the law and it's been pretty difficult finding answers and people I can trust or those who do "timeshares". Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  • My company instituted a tobacco free workplace and we need to go off company property to smoke or vape. Now they are sending security telling us we cannot smoke in front of other businesses on public property and on public reserve land by putting up extreme fire danger signs year round. Can they enforce where we smoke or vape when off of company grounds?
  • I am currently in a Ch 13 bankruptcy. My home was in my bk plan. Currently my pre and post petition payments are current. However my mortgage servicer continues to place the payments made in a reserve account for several days before applying the monthly payment. My loan servicer also adds additional fees to my monthly statement such as property preserv fee? My home was in foreclosure but since it is current on pre and post petition payments, my servicer still has not canceled the trustee sale, they just continue to move the date forward. I filed pro se and everything else has been fine.
  • Laws against organized community harassment?
  • What rights to tenancy do I have after relatives death? I have inhabited the apartment for a few weeks and received a 5 day notice, and nothing more. Another relative informed me that the Apartment Managers contacted them saying a court date was set for tomorrow, yet there has been no notice left at the apartment.
  • My Nephew is incarcerated and will be for some time. I am needing to contact someone on how to get full custody of his 4yr old daughter. Can some one help with a phone number at least?
  • Should I seek counsel in a case where I ihave a protective order and defendant filed an answer with a lawyer?
  • I have a question about payment of utilities. I signed rental agreement stating that I have to make a tep account to pay my electric bill. But I got a notice yesterday that I have until today to make a simple bills account to pay for electric utility. I do not want to use this service and it was not in my lease. I called another number, but the woman was unhelpful.
