  • Per my lease agreement I sent notice to my landlord that I wanted to renew the lease a month prior to lease ending via email 6/28/19, the same day he sent me notice of rent increase which was received on 6/29/19. He recently replied that we are on a month to month, our lease does not end until July 31st at 5pm. He took over two weeks to respond to email, I am unable to give him 30days notice as he took too long to respond, I recently emailed back accepting he rental amount if a lease is written. What right do I have? Last year when he raised the rent he back dated the 30 day notice.
  • My landlord wants to prorate my end of lease for an additional 3 days. I turned in my 60 notice well before my 60 days was even near. I sent numerous emails regarding my 60 day notice and never heard any response and she is claiming she never received them even though I sent her proof of every email I sent her. I have been courteous and have paid the rent every month and have never been late. What are my rights as a tenant to to make sure I'm not overcharged on the proration?

  • In mid October I agreed to let a female army veteran stay in my camp trailer for two weeks. We have no contract and I didn't ask for rent but she said she would help out. I ran an electricic an cord to the trailer and told her to use a bathroom in the house. It's December 15th and she's still here. So far she's contributed $35 towards food and utilities and recieved mail. Twice she threatened to call the police because she has the right to shower and to use my electricity. I would like to know how to remove her by Christmas without a legal battle, what rights she actually has, mine also.
  • My lease is for a year, however my landlord notified me that she was selling her house and wants to buy me out of my lease which I still have 3 months left on it. How much should the lease buy out amount be? She is offering me $1000.00, I currently pay $1050.00 monthly for rent and have always been on time.
  • Been in same mobile home park for 4 years, living in our travel trailer. We've always paid 1 yr. in advance to receive a substantial discount due to tiered pricing. In June, we're usually offered a pre-reservation discount, but must pay the future year in advance. We've usually declined due to lack of $$ in June, but agree we will be renewing when our rental agreement is up. This year they told us they had a prospective new tenant and if we didn't renew w/1 yr advance payment...we would lose our spot. Is this legal?

I believe it is mold making me sick. When I informed the owner he instantly jumped down my throat and asked why this is the first he's hearing of anything. Since I asked not to pay rent till the rental tested for mold he threatened to start the eviction process as soon as possible. I understand I have to pay rent. What do I do about the possible mold issue?

Now they are saying to pay by tomorrow or they will proceed with an eviction. I am scared to death. My back is broken.   • I am the guardian of my 2 grandchildren (their mother is my oldest daughter) she had been in a domestic violence situation with the kids dad (he is in prison until July 2016) she lives with friends, no job, possible drugs. He does drugs and has a new girlfriend pregnant. I do not want either of them to obtain children EVER. What can I do to protect the kids and myself since Arizona tends to want to reunite children and parents. This is not a good idea with either of the biological parents. I love them to much to have them suffer. Guardian since 2010, they are age 9 and 6. suggestions?
