  • MY BOYFRIEND OF 4 YEARS LEFT HIS 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WITH ME WHILE HE WENT OUT OF STATE. I WANT TO GET HER ENROLLED IN SCHOOL AND ALSO GET HER INSURANCE AND I CANT DO ALL OF THAT WITH HIM BEING GONE. WHAT ALL DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT. I WANT TO ENROLL HER IN SCHOOL, TAKE HER TO DOCTORS AND DENTISTS APPT AND EVERYTHING ELSE A MOTHER SHOULD DO. ?
  • My brother has had his ex-wife stay with him for about 3 weeks, she was never on the lease of the apartment, pays no rent, has no mail going to the apartment, nor does she have any utility bills. She is becoming increasingly abusive and was only supposed to be temporary. Will he need to evict her or can he just have her removed for trespassing? My brother is the only one on the lease.

  • My roommate flaked out on me and I need to pay a termination fee for the apartment. We are both signed on the lease but I need to know if my roommate is also responsible to split the termination fee and if so, what if my roommate refuses? Will she be responsible for paying her part? The termination fee is four months of rent and I am able to pay two (half) of the overall fee. My landlords said if she won't pay her part, it will be sent to collections and they will also require me to pay the remaining balance if she doesn't.
  • Student signed lease that states leasing period 8/2016-6/2017 listing total rent for $20,000 - $2000 monthly. Student agreed to a 10 month lease and landlord now says there was a typo in lease and student owes one more month. Is student responsible for landlord typo?

I own my mobile home, in ch33 it says that a guest cannot be charged for until they stay more than 14 consecutive days in a given moth and then charged $1 per day. The landlord gave me an eviction notice and my friends have only stayed 10 daus. Also, am i obligated to tell the landlord the name of every person who stays the night? She is saying they have the right to know and approve of all guests that stay 3 nights. Ch33 does not support that.
